Why you should submit:

In addition, this opportunity can enhance your professional development and presentation skills, which can further be used at other professional conferences.

Submissions should include a 200-word summary or “abstract” of the proposed poster or talk. For empirical studies, the abstract should also include details on the study’s methods and results (if applicable).

Presenters will indicate during submission if they are interested in presenting a poster, a flash talk, or are open to both formats

  • Posters: Posters will be presented in two 20-minute sessions during the conference.

  • Flask Talks: 7–10-minute oral presentations

Review Criteria:

Following submission, the proposals will be sent out for anonymous review.

Reviewers will be asked to consider the following in evaluating proposals:

  • Salience and importance of the topic: Is the proposal salient to the field of clinical psychology? Is it a topic likely to attract participants and encourage discussion among attendees?

  • Presentation coherence: Does the proposal indicate this presentation will be effective and coherent? Will the presentation be comprehensible and useful to the audience? Are the key points of the presentation clearly highlighted?

  • Methodology: If applicable, does the proposal have a theoretical grounding and an appropriate methodology? Does it clearly delineate how the research was carried out or the nature of the topic? Is the methodology appropriate to address the research question?
